Don Bradman had commented on Sachin Tendulkar that Sachin reminded him of his time when he was still playing cricket. This was prior to Bradman’s passing away. However if you go by the latest list compiled by ICC(international cricket council),Sachin is not included in the top all time batsmen, which is topped by Don Bradman,Ricky Ponting etc.Sachin has the highest number of runs and centuries scored by anyone ever in the cricket world.Still the jokers sitting in ICC have shown the stuff they are made of!Who can defy Don Bradman’s greatness or that of Ricky Pontings achievements in cricket. However to ignore Sachin Tendulkar’s achievement as a batsman is like a Church without the priest!
The times of India ,a daily newspaper in India commented:
Players make the all-time list by sustaining excellent form over a prolonged period," the ICC website explains, which makes it slightly difficult to understand why none of the top four run-getter's in Tests - Sachin, Brian Lara, Alan Border and Steve Waugh - figures among the ICC’s top 20 Test batsmen. In Sachin’s case, we can only conclude that the ICC believes 12,429 runs and 41 tons are not excellent enough. Or perhaps 19 years is not a prolonged enough period.
Even many cricketers are wondering about the formula used to come to such a conclusion.Gavaskar who should have been in first five is placed at number 20!It only proves that ICC needs fresh minds to fill it ranks and files! If this is the rate at which already irrelevant and all time farting ICC keeps plotting, day is not far when no cricket playing nation will allow them to enter their country. The cricket blog highly snubs such a comment as irrelevent and demeaning to the game of cricket and insulting to Sachin.

Tendulkar should watch the video of the new Standard Strength Sports Indoor Cricket Ball demo - it is being released today. Priceless
