GLADIATOR STAR MAY BUY CRICKET TEAM!

Last season during IPL season in India Shane Warne’s Jaipur cricket team(partly owned by Australian Rupert Murdoch's son) won the title and praise for excellent play.On the other hand Bangalore team headed by Rahul Dravid and owned by Kingfisher boss VIJAY MALLYA showed very poor results.There were rumours that Mallya wants to sell off his team and would rather focus on formula 1 car racing.Imagine who was the team coach?Well it was Martin Crowe the former Newzealand cricket captain.Incidental his cousin Russel Crowe is famous Hollywood Star and interested in sports.Russel Crowe ,not long back bought a rugby team in NewZealand.It is said that GLADIATOR star is interested in buying Bangalore team from Vijay Mallya and Mallya has given him an offer.However these are only unconfirmed reports coming from different directions.It is also rumoured that Richard Branson ,the British Business tycoon too is interested.Knowing Mallya’s business acumen he will sell the team for a hefty profit.

Russel Crowe along with his cousins Martin Crowe and Jeff Crowe are eyeing the big Indian cricket related market.Recently Russel backed out of the Film “Australia” which ultimately stared Nicole Kidman.On the other hand if Russel buys the Bangalore team ,he will also get a chance to hobnob with Indian Film groups like ADAG which are investing over a billion Dollar in Hollywood projects.Nicole kidman not long ago praised Aishwarya Rai knowing very well that Aish is very close to ADAG group family the Ambanis.Thus the Gladiator star might score a double if goes ahead with the Bangalore deal.Can he own it jointly with Richard Branson only time will tell.Nicole Kidman will benefit too in her own way.Here IPL cricket seems to be excellently blending with Hollywood.Bollywood already is well connected with Cricket and so will be Hollywood.PG Wodehouse was the first Hollywood writer to start a cricket club in Hollywood in early 1930's.
